We have asked Sauer tree service to do everything from hauling wood, to grinding stumps to pruning large and small trees, all at very resonalble prices with great customer service and    everytime we have been extremely happy. They have super fast turn around time and are very communicative - They check in if there might be changes, do not do work without confirming, quickly respond to and address and any questions or concerns and they take the whole yard into consideration (they were at our house but it was very wet so they called to ask if they could come another day so they did not damage our grass - it might seem small but we really apprecaited that).

Jacob and his crew did a great job trimming our trees.  Living in Clintonville, we have a huge oak tree that was overgrown along with some others that were arching over my and the neighbors' houses. As anyone who's ever had a haircut knows, a "trim" can quickly turn into a "hack job"--so I was a little bit worried about letting just anyone trim my trees that the squirrels and I love.  They did a great job. They were professional, courteous, worked quickly and they picked up every stick when they left. Now, if they could only cut hair. . . .

Jacob came out for an estimate for tree trimming services. Jacob came out within a day of the call to provide the estimate. He was very professional.

They came by and did some needed trimming on my 100 year old Oak tree in my front yard. They arrived on the day and time they said they would. This tree needed some attention because a big limb had fallen out of it. They took their time to do a thoughtful and thorough job. They took care not to damage any live branches unnecessarily. They had very good equipment for the job including a big bucket truck to haul away the trimmings. On-time. Friendly. They kept me informed and asked if I felt anything else needed done after the trimming.

Removal of a tree Jacob was very easy to reach and provide a reasonable quote. He worked with me on scheduling the service and was able to cut down and remove a large tree from my yard. The clean up was amazing and I was also able to coordinate stump removal with Jacob. I will use him again.

Trimmed oak limbs. Trimmed conifer limbs. Advised on Elm (yes, American elm, somehow survived) health. Advised oak health. The team showed up on time, cleaned up thoroughly, and were willing to spend a few minutes talking about shade patterns in my yard. Great experience, we'll use these guys again!

He cut back my trees so they were all in my property vs going over into my neighbor's. He also fixed a tree hit by lightening He's excellent, and cleaned it up so nicely!

They cut down 15 trees. My attorney referred him to me. I also got some other estimates and I was really pleased with his work. I tried to get 5 estimates. One was really low so that made me really skeptical. The others were $2200, $2600 and $2700 and one company wouldn't bid it. The prices didn't even include cutting down the trees. His price was right in there with the other people. They had a real tight 3 man crew. They were very professional, very courteous and very nice. It was a rather difficult job. The trees were not big in diameter but they were very tall. The complications came because there were wires from other houses going through my back yard so they had to contend with all those live wires in the alley. There were also branches overhanging in my neighbor's property. They couldn't get a crane in there. He had to literally go up there and remove the branches. I was quite pleased with them. It was fun to watch them. They did a splendid job. They showed up on time. It was expensive. The overall job was simply lovely. His price was reasonable to me. His quality was top notch.

Removed 9 12-15 ft. tall arbovitae bushes and ground stumps - also removed a large wild rose bush. Jacob and Matt worked all morning, being careful to take care of lawn by putting down plywood sheets for equipment to get to and from back yard so as not to damage lawn. Cleaned up all debris and were courteous, friendly and answered questions. They made quick work of some monsterous bushes.

I had Jacob thin out and raise the limbs. I now have a fabulous looking tree with a beautiful canopy. Expert care and knowledge. Good clean up
